The mother of a man Tasered at Vancouver International Airport hasn't seen a video of her son's dying moments, but said Thursday she wants it made public. "She wants for everybody to see the truth because there were so many confused stories from the media and from official sources," said Jurek Baltakis, a close family friend of Zofia Cisowski. Cisowski's son, 40-year-old Robert Dziekanski, died at the airport Oct. 14 after RCMP officers Tasered him.
Paul Pritchard of Victoria caught the incident on video and gave it to police, then had to fight to get it back. RCMP returned it Wednesday, and on Thursday, Pritchard was making arrangements to send it to Cisowski, who he wanted to see it before making it public.
