North Carolina man subdued with taser dies

Stefan McMinn, 44 - handcuffed and unarmed
Shortly after arriving at the jail on Friday night (November 2nd), Stefan McMinn, age 44, became combative with officers and was Tasered. McMinn appeared to have suffered a heart attack and was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
At this point, it’s not known if the Taser contributed to Stefan McMinn’s death, Henderson County Sheriff Rick Davis said, and he added “I would encourage everyone to wait for the outcome of that investigation before there are any conclusions drawn."
This is the second taser-related death in North Carolina in less than a month.
