BC Police Chiefs vote in support of taser

VICTORIA - The B.C. Association of Chiefs of Police has voted unanimously to continue the use of Tasers. Supt. Gord Tomlinson, head of the association, said he supports all the ongoing investigations, and apologized to the family of Robert Dziekanski. He added police believe the Taser "saves lives" and that officers have full confidence in the tool.
