No pain, no gain??

It has already been established that to achieve muscle incapacitation with electrical cuurent, you have to go well past pain and get too damn close to death.
How much above the pain threshold?

The fact that the taser was designed to incapacitate using the wires and darts, clearly indicates that it is legally and ethically and medically inappropriate to also use it for Pain Compliance where the pain is strictly limited to "reasonable".
2000 times above intense is clearly not reasonable.
Police are liable for violating the international prohibition against Torture.
And Taser should be liable for selling Torture Equipment.
It's not that bad... I've got hit with 110V out of a wall-socket, and that's way worse than the Taser. It's not supposed to feel good... if you get hit with a Taser, you weren't being compliant and were a danger to yourself or society. I'd take a Taser over a broken bone from getting hit with a night stick any day. At least the pain is temporary... broken bones hurt for the rest of your life, especialy when it rains.
Luvztaser, many errors in your knowledge...
Most times when people get a tingle from a 120 volt socket, they are not connected to the circuit with a complete path across the chest. Most often they touch the wire with one finger, the current path has to be completed via the feet, through the poorly conducting shoes or socks, flooring material, all the way to ground.
If you were to get the 120 volts AC wired up across the chest just like the dart-deployment mode of a taser, then there is a very good chance that you would die a painful death by electrocution.
Taser claims a safety margin, but a review of the bell curves indicates that a certain death rate may be assumed.
Now with respect to "being compliant"...
No matter what law you point to such as 'failing to obey' a police officer, those laws have punishments assigned in law. None of them have torture by electrocution listed as a punishment, and not even the courts would be permitted to torture a person for 'force' (verb) them to be compliant.
Your views of "being compliant" are exactly those that would be true in a police state.

The fact that you would hold these views is frightening. Do we live in a police state? Is passive resistance now grounds for a near-death street level torture session?
Do we still need the courts? Why? The police can march around town handing out taser-torture punishment for being non-compliant?
Your views about 'being compliant' are far more evil and insidious than you may realize.
