The inquiry into the death of Robert Dziekanski "will take a much more sombre tone" when the four RCMP officers who Tasered him testify under oath, predicted a lawyer for Dziekanski's mother.
Walter Kosteckyj, representing Dziekanski's mother Zofia Cisowski, emphasized that the inquiry is not only about the RCMP's actions on Oct. 14, 2007.
"The police officers were the last people to deal with Mr. Dziekanski in a bad chain of events, and he died when he was in their custody, but there's a lot of blame to go around... it doesn't start and end with the police officers."
