Quilem Registre became the third person in a month to die in Canada after being struck with an electrical discharge from a police taser. His death comes four weeks after the death of 32-year-old Claudio Castagnetta. Mr. Castagnetta was tasered during an altercation with police in Quebec City and died from "self-inflicted head wounds" while in detention two days after his arrest. Robert Dziekanski, 40, died minutes after receiving a taser jolt at Vancouver airport last weekend during a run-in with police.
