Quilem Registre, 39, unarmed
A Montreal man subdued with a stun gun on Sunday died last night.
Quilem Registre was struck by one or several electric shocks from a Taser gun after police stopped him for a traffic violation. Police said he hit three parked cars and acted intoxicated when they approached him and they used a Taser gun to subdue him because he was "aggressive." He ended up in hospital in critical condition and required two operations before dying Wednesday night. Police have not released any more details about the circumstances surrounding this death.
It's only a matter of time before they begin to spin the "excited delirium" theory.
