A man has died after being tasered by RCMP.
Police say on Wednesday evening they received a call about a disturbance in a residential area of Brooks.
RCMP and paramedics arrived at the scene.
RCMP say they found the man and used a Taser to take the person into custody.
The man then went into medical distress and paramedics tried to treat him.
The man was taken to hospital in Brooks where he later died.
The investigation into the death following the use of a Taser is being done by the Alberta Serious Incident Response Team (ASIRT).
Has there been a media ban as to this death? I have heard nothing thereafter....Why?
