In memory of our brother and son, Robert Bagnell,
who died moments after being tasered by police in Vancouver, British Columbia on June 23, 2004. Bob was the 7th Canadian to die and the 110th in North America.
The Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia awarded the Victoria Human Rights Institute's Human Rights Medal to Cameron Ward in a ceremony at Government House on May 26, 2009.
Just another perfect example of why Cameron Ward is my hero.
This exceptional man well deserves this great honour as he constantly strives to find justice for the less fortunate, those who have no options. He has tirelessly worked (pro bono)on our behalf after the tasering death of our son and brother, Bob Bagnell. Unfortunately there is no justice to be found in B.C. for regular people..only those with an infinite supply of money can ever hope to find justice in British Columbia. But to see Cameron Ward receive this prestigious award may well be our only consolation. God Bless you Cameron. We will always honour you in our hearts. The Bagnell Family
